Owner / Head Coach

Street is a former professional Rugby Player with a Masters in Nutrition and Bachelors in Exercise Physiology from Meredith College, Raleigh NC. She played collegiate basketball at Shepherd University and then represented her country on the rugby field for 4 years leading up to the 2014 Rugby World Cup. After moving to Raleigh to pursue her Masters she began her career as a strength coach working at CrossFit Invoke, UNC-CH Olympic Sports Weight Room, and Head Strength Coach at Meredith College. She is the Owner and Head Coach of CrossFit Shoofly.

Kelli's passion for sports and athletics started when she was 5 years old and the only girl on her soccer team. Her dad is a Marine so they were stationed out in California. Ultimately, it led her family to New Bern, NC where she became a standout soccer player in the state. She grew up playing club ball all over the United States and eventually made the North Carolina State ODP team before moving to Virginia for her last years of high school. Kelli now owns her own floral design business as well as coaches many children’s sports programs, such as kids CrossFit, olympic weightlifting , small group training for a baseball program, swim lessons, and a power and speed soccer specialist for Paladin LLC in her local area. Her passion for teaching our youth is unmatched. Work hard play hard is her motto and her hand is always out to help in any way. She loves the beach and any outdoor activity with her friends and family.

Brad is a Human Performance Coach who has worked with athletes, soldiers, first responders, and corporate employees to develop and implement mental skills and mindset training to reach the next level in their respective fields. He was a two sport athlete, competing in football and baseball at the Division III level collegiately. Brad then went on to earn a masters degree in Sport Psychology. He is a Crossfit Level 1 Trainer, and is passionate about working with people to support them in reaching their goals and breaking down mental barriers both in and out of the gym.
Chelsea Torres Blum
MS, CFL2, USAWL2
Chelsea is the Head Coach of Shoofly Barbell Club and Shoofly Sports Performance as well as a CrossFit Coach. She graduated from East Carolina University in 2013, with a Bachelors in Health Fitness then in 2015, with her Masters in Sport Management. In her tenure leading the Shoofly Barbell Club she has coached several athletes at national weightlifting events and continues to grow the program which is home to Nationally ranked lifters and NC State Champion lifters. As a CrossFit Coach, Chelsea uses her olympic lifting knowledge as well as her passion for understanding human movement to help athletes of all ages and fitness levels reach their goals inside and outside of the gym daily. Along with her coaching roles, Chelsea manages CrossFit Shoofly day to day operations ensuring the best experience for our Shoofly Athletes.

Earning her Masters in Sport Science and Coach Education at East Tennessee State University, Danielle has diverse experiences within the confines of sport performance and strength and conditioning. While at ETSU, she was the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach of Milligan College Women’s Basketball teams and assisted in coaching Team USA and Team Great Britain athletes (bobsled& canoe/kayak). Additionally, she worked as an intern with North Carolina State University Strength and Conditioning and was a former athlete at Meredith College playing soccer, basketball, and lacrosse.
Chauncey is a United States Army Veteran. Prior to serving in the military, Chauncey was a collegiate Track and Field athlete specializing in the Shot Put and Discus. He also spent time coaching High School sports: Football, Girls Basketball and Track and Field. During his time in the military he received training in Modern Army Combatives (Hand-to-hand Combat) and also became a level 2 instructor. He is a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer that loves teaching, coaching and providing knowledge that will help others become the best versions of themselves.

Once upon a time I was the kid that never took his shirt off on a hot summer day at the beach. I was overweight, had no confidence and was extremely shy (still am). During my college years as I worked at a local gym part time, fell in love with fitness. First it was running, then weight training, and then cross training. I felt accomplished, had more confidence and everything was within my reach. It was this feeling that lead me to help others. Fast forward to today, it has been 14 years in the exercise field, 9 of those years as a Personal Trainer and I intend in continuing to help those that desire to reach their exercise/life goals.
Maria currently holds a bachelor in social work from Meredith College and is in the process of getting her masters in social work at NC State University. Maria is interning with the Harnett County Sheriff’s Department PAL program which is a youth crime prevention program. With her CrossFit experience, and social work degree, Maria has helped create and implement the CrossFit program there in aims to help youth in the community. Additionally, Maria is an Officer in the United States National Guard and has been serving in the military for 5 years. Maria has a background in Gymnastics, is also a former athlete at Meredith College where she played lacrosse, and has competed at the national level for weightlifting. Maria is passionate about helping athletes gain a sense of empowerment and confidence through the sport of CrossFit and within the community.
Liz graduated from RPI with a BS in Chemistry and a minor in Education, she went on to pursue her MS in Physical Sciences from The University of Chicago. She began her career as a Chemistry teacher, and also coached Cross-country, track and field at the HS level. She has been a competitive runner her entire life, and considered herself a runner until she started crossfit. Her love for fitness and background in education coupled together to drive her to become a crossfit coach. She has been coaching crossfit for over 10 years and has attained her Level 3 certification. She feels fortunate to have found a career that she loves every day, all the time. She has 5 kids and understands the demands life brings. It is her goal to make this the best hour of your day. She’s a crossfitter for life and everyday she’s helping you to become a little stronger and a little better and that’s what she LOVES!
William 'Billy' Maccini
Billy is a United States Army Reserve Veteran. He was a 3-sport athlete in high school, including football, baseball, and swimming. He is currently employed as a mining engineer. After playing sports, he wanted to find a way to stay healthy and active as he aged and found CrossFit. He lost 95 pounds and fell in love with this style of training. He then realized that he really enjoyed helping others and began his coaching career. He is now a Level 2 trainer. His passion is undeniable and you can feel that in his coaching.
