Amanda Street, MS, CSCS, TSAC-F, CFL2
Owner / Head Coach

Street is a former professional Rugby Player with a Masters in Nutrition and Bachelors in Exercise Physiology from Meredith College, Raleigh NC. She played collegiate basketball at Shepherd University and then represented her country on the rugby field for 4 years leading up to the 2014 Rugby World Cup. After moving to Raleigh to pursue her Masters she began her career as a strength coach working at CrossFit Invoke, UNC-CH Olympic Sports Weight Room, and Head Strength Coach at Meredith College. She is the Owner and Head Coach of CrossFit Shoofly.

Chelsea Torres Blum, MS, CFL1, USAWL2
Program Director

Chelsea is the Program Director and Head Coach of Shoofly Barbell Club and Shoofly Sports Performance as well as a CrossFit Coach.  She graduated from East Carolina University in 2013, with a Bachelors in Health Fitness then in 2015, with her Masters in Sport Management.  In her tenure leading the Shoofly Barbell Club she has coached several athletes at national weightlifting events and continues to grow the program which is home to Nationally ranked lifters and NC State Champion lifters.  As a CrossFit Coach, Chelsea uses her olympic lifting knowledge as well as her passion for understanding human movement to help athletes of all ages and fitness levels reach their goals inside and outside of the gym daily.  Along with her coaching roles, Chelsea manages CrossFit Shoofly day to day operations ensuring the best experience for our Shoofly Athletes. 

Brad Marshall, M. Ed., CFL1
Head Coach 

Brad is a Human Performance Coach who has worked with athletes, soldiers, first responders, and corporate employees to develop and implement mental skills and mindset training to reach the next level in their respective fields. He was a two sport athlete, competing in football and baseball at the Division III level collegiately. Brad then went on to earn a masters degree in Sport Psychology. He is a Crossfit Level 1 Trainer, and is passionate about working with people to support them in reaching their goals and breaking down mental barriers both in and out of the gym. 

Danielle Lee, MS, CSCS, CFL1
Head Coach

Earning her Masters in Sport Science and Coach Education at East Tennessee State University, Danielle has diverse experiences within the confines of sport performance and strength and conditioning. While at ETSU, she was the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach of Milligan College Women’s Basketball teams and assisted in coaching Team USA and Team Great Britain athletes (bobsled& canoe/kayak).  Additionally, she worked as an intern with North Carolina State University Strength and Conditioning and was a former athlete at Meredith College playing soccer, basketball, and lacrosse. 

David Boyd, CFL1
Head Coach 

Boyd is a full time career Police Officer and United States Marine Corps Veteran.  During his time in the Corps he served as an Airport Rescue and Firefighting specialist and also ran a personal security detail while deployed to Afghanistan. Boyd has experience in a wide variety of sports to include; Mixed Martial Arts (specializing in Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu), lacrosse, BMX, rugby, soccer, hockey, and gymnastics.

Zach Boone, CFL1, USAWL1
Head Coach

Zach is studying Human Biology in his first year of undergrad. He began CrossFit 5 years ago and found the sport of Olympic Weightlifting. He has been competing as an 85kg lifter for the past two years and has qualified for USA Weightlifting Junior Nationals two years in a row. Zach will also be competing at the 2018 University Nationals. When Zach is not studying or coaching Crossfit he leads youth gymnastic classes. He is passionate about pushing athletes to be their best both in the gym and out in the community.

Alex Dominguez, CFL1
Head Coach

Alex grew up in a small town near Asheville NC. He started doing and coaching Crossfit in 2009. Alex played soccer for most of his life and has experience training/coaching individuals and teams at various ages and levels. He coached at Crossfit Wilmington in 2015-2016 before moving to the Fuquay area. Alex have a Masters degree in teaching from UNCW and is currently a healthful-living teacher and soccer coach at Fuquay-Varina Middle School. Alex is always striving to further his education in every area of health from nutrition to Olympic weightlifting in order to help as many people as possible appreciate and maintain their health.

Chauncey Moore, CFL1
Assistant Coach

Chauncey is a United States Army Veteran.  Prior to serving in the military, Chauncey was a collegiate Track and Field athlete specializing in the Shot Put and Discus. He also spent time coaching High School sports: Football, Girls Basketball and Track and Field. During his time in the military he received training in Modern Army Combatives (Hand-to-hand Combat) and also became a level 2 instructor. He is a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer that loves teaching, coaching and providing knowledge that will help others become the best versions of themselves.
